Here is a cheap way to soften any LED light by using a clamp arm to fit your reflector in front of your LED light source. This cheap modification is an awesome diffusion to the intense light of the many LED bulbs. I have found it to make a huge difference when filming people wearing glasses and always gives a much softer look and you can keep the portability of your LED light.
